C-130E Computer, Takeoff and Landing,Type CPU-79/P

Before the days of electronic computers, aircrews used mechanical computers to quickly obtain performance data needed for takeoff and landing. Known as the “TOLD Computer”, it was used primarily by the Flight Engineer to obtain the Takeoff and Landing data (Takeoff speed, landing speed, etc for the TOLD card) for the crew.
