FLIP IFR Charts 25 Nov 1969 edition

These charts, produced by the 7651st Aeronautical Chart and Information Squadron at APO San Francisco 96553 (Hickam AFB, Hawaii), provided a pictorial view of the low altitude airways in the western Pacific. A total of 8 charts on four fold fold-out map papers, covered the Pacific. Folding a map to just the area you needed to see was an art. Much like the “Texaco” maps provided by gas stations in the 1960s, they were about 2′ by 4’unfolded. But were a necessity to fly the airways. These were the military version of the civilian Jeppesen charts.

They always had a picture depicting what area which chart number would cover. There were always two charts printed on on sheet of 2′ x’4′ paper. So, a total of four charts for this area of the Pacific.
The legend for the information printed on the chart.
